Life & Rescue International (LRI) now incorporating FSS

Safety in high risk environments

Founded in Newcastle in the 1980s offering support services such as training and equipment sales for the  mining industry and utilities, LRI was acquired by WWI in 2005.

“LRI are industry experienced specialists in the safe management of high risk work environments, advancing safety through risk assessment, nationally accredited training programs, innovative product solutions and extensive servicing and maintenance programs.”

Significant changes to work in high risk environments specifically safety and OHS legislation has brought considerable growth to LRI. Demand has spurred subsequent investment and today, LRI is a National business formed through continued acquisition and expansion within Sydney and the Hunter region; Perth and WA; Tasmania and North Queensland.

The acquisition of FSS in Townsville has added significant scale, incorporating sophisticated fire management specialisations into the product offering. Working with Wiltrading in WA, LRI are expanding facilities to include BOSIET and HUET training to specifically service oil & gas and defence markets.

Check out LRIs new look!   The image update has included a complete review of the company’s public face.  The modern and dynamic look truly reflects the company’s ideals and purpose. Our new style begins with a logo update and will cover everything from cars and clothing through to email signatures, corporate brochures and business cards, a new look web is planned for FY2011-12, stay tuned!
